Thematic Unit on the Solar System

The site was created by two middle school teachers.  The website offers activities and research information for the students and lesson plans and teaching tools for teachers. The website also has an audio function.  The audio function allows students to have the passage of information read to them.  What a wonderful way to make sure that all visitors can somehow be connected to the information.

This site was created so that just about anyone would benefit from the information that is displayed.  The website can benefit media specialist, teachers, students, trainers, and more (available for translation is Spanish.

I considered this website to be of great value because it had a lot to offer students.  The first thing that attracted me to the site was its eye catching graphics.  The site is sure to catch the attention of the children who log on.  The tabs at the bottom of the website look like the control panel of a spaceship.  The one feature that impressed me on this site was the capability to watch video clips on the planets.  Each planet provides the visitors with tons of valuable information.  There are lots of pictures that go along with the planets.
